Thermal hazwaste treatment
The core element is the thermal decomposition of residues. This mainly takes place at high temperatures in the presence of oxygen. In order to achieve good combustion efficiency fluids must be atomized to maximum possible extent with use of suitable nozzles. Solids can be finely grinded and decomposed by means of pulverised fuel combustion or with the help of adequate retention times, e.g. in rotary kilns or fluidized bed combustion.Flue gas cleaning
